An exploration of the embedded feelings of shame. The renunciation and rebellion against it as a tool for oppression throughout sociological and sexist regimes. And the humble acceptance of it for an ever evolving conscience, consciousness and growth. Personification and exaggeration of the different forms of shame (literal and metaphorical), starting from the accusation and /or self infliction to the acceptance and making peace with it. Sitting with it vs indulging in it, from the societal infliction to the unconscious incorporation of Shame in parenting. The importance of it in reform institutions and the humble acceptance of it in queer identity. This collection is an attempt at the personification of the entire spectrum of shame. What this collection also stands for is a reminder to practice compassion when one finds itself entangled in the complexities of the emotion.
